Private schools include Donovan Catholic High School, Calvary Academy, and Bais Shaindel High School for Girls. Colleges in the county include Georgian Court University and Ocean County College.

Ocean County Beach Ocean County was established in March of 1683. According to the 2010 Census, it is now home to more than 576,567 people, with 149,250 families. The median age is 42.6, and the median income for a household in the county was $46,443 in 2000.
